Internships

Yes, you will venture into the backcountry on cool adventures. Occasionally. But mostly you will be in the frontcountry working hard from the Light Finds Gallery alongside owner Paul Hassell and a smattering of talented videographers and tech nerds.

There is no shortage of work to be done as Light Finds expands and stetches its wings into new horizons. Also headquartered inside the Light Finds Gallery (next to Plaid Apron in Sequoyah Hills) is ALIVE Photo which our team launched on Kickstarter in March 2015. Be sure to check it out >>> http://alive.photo

It's an exciting time of growth, and we would love to have you join us.

Our 3 Internship Positions:

  • Entrepreneur's Dream | Nature and adventure photography is a challenging industry. You will explore untapped markets, develop creative strategies for breaking into them, and implement your plan. Must exhibit strong relational skills. This is perfect for someone with a business focus or entrepreneurial bent.
  • Digital Marketing | If paid traffic, social media growth, and sales funnels get you all fired up, we'd love to talk.
  • Editing | Must exhibit a working knowledge of professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro CC. We are currently using CC almost exclusively. Proficiency in basic Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for editing still images is a bonus but not a requirement. This is perfect for anyone with a Photo/Video focus.

Please contact us if you are a qualified applicant.

For preliminary consideration please be prepared to provide a resume with three contacts we make speak to about your character and professional qualification. Interships are unpaid. Therefore, we are flexible with the number of hours you are able to work. We expect a minimum of 10-20 hours/week.

Paul has a drive, passion and kindness that allows his vision to thrive. This internship has proven valuable as I build and focus my own ideas and passions. Paul has been an indispensable mentor to me.

PLEASE NOTE:

We do all of our photography and film projects outdoors. We travel fast and light (relative to a Hollywood crew). Being physically fit is a must if you want to learn, grow, and enjoy yourself as much as possible during your internship.
